Here's four stars for the busiest Starbucks in Colorado. According to a barista I've chatted with, this location is the largest volume producer in the state. And for good reason. Nestled in an upscale strip-mall within the DTC, its neighbors include Cool River Cafe, OPH and Il Fornaio. In the afternoon, it can be standing room only, as the DTC locals use this branch as meeting and networking place. A recent renovation introduced a LONG community table that makes socializing with strangers a lot of fun. And the coffee? OK, it's SBUX, but my usual nonfat cap always comes out the same, on the dry side, with a good bite of espresso. The staff is always friendly, which is no mean feat considering how busy this location can be.

Love this location. Always hopping, lots of beautiful people. The staff are great and fast, considering there is almost always a line.

Pros: Nicest Starbucks I've ever been to. It's quite large and spacious. Whoever put this place together did so with laptops in mind and there are power outlets EVERYWHERE along with the typical Starbucks attwifi network. They have a nice outdoor seating area too. Cons: It's a Starbucks. If that's a pro for you, then great. For me, I'm not a huge fan of their coffee and general style. I'll reserve a five star rating for a local neighborhood coffeehouse that radiates that certain community-driven magic that only a handful of shops manage to produce (and no, I haven't found it in this area yet...)

I really want to like this place more, but the music in Starbucks should not be so loud that earplugs are needed to maintain a train of thought. Even talking to my husband across a small table is difficult without shouting at each other. *annoyed* Otherwise, this place is nice.

Everyone in the DTC seems to gather here. It's the only real one around (besides the ones too close to the highschool - which always have the teenages milling around), and it's crowed most of the time. There are small windows of time when you can scoot right up to the counter, get your order and out the door right quick, but the usual way things go, is a line half way to the door, if not to the door. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient and i always get the drink i want - although once in a while my drink does get lost in the shuffle! The general population is pretty upity and people watching always gives me a chuckle! It's within walking distance of the office, so i'll continue to come here!

I enjoy coming this place. The staff is friendly, and has plenty of seating, compared to other Starbucks I've been to. I've been here during it's busiest hours, however have yet to see a line of customers to the door. If you live in the area(like I do) or passing through town looking for a place to grab coffee, I'd recommend coming here. 4 Stars.

I debated writing this but with how consistent the poor service has been I figured this may be the only way it'll change. The people making the drinks are always super sweet. However there are two girls working at the registers that are always so cold & never smile. Ever. It makes me not want to come in there. I often debate ordering food but just my presence feels like an inconvenience to them so I typically just stick with a simple drink. I miss my 2nd ave Cherry Creek location peeps. They could teach these girls a thing or two about customer service, or human interaction at least. I know this location is busy, but if you can't stand the pace & dislike the job move on and let someone more pleasant take your place please!

As a previous Starbucks barista I was pretty disappointed with my visit to this Starbucks. The cashier was really friendly and timely. The barista on the other hand? HORRIBLE. First, Brittney was VERY slow..and I mean unusually slow. It almost seemed like she was moving slow on purpose. I ordered a warmed butter croissant. Her way of giving me my croissant was to throw it on the counter at me instead of putting it in my hands (mind you I was right by the pick up area). I went in for one caramel macchiato and there were three people ahead of me each having ONE drink..it took her almost 10 minutes to fix my drink. She was literally making them one a time! Now I don't know if things have changed, but I was trained to get shots ready for MULTIPLE drinks at once, not one at a time. The cashier had lined up cups for her and rather than set them up by her station she left them around the corner where she would have to stop everything and grab the cup...yet another time killer. I'll say this. If she had the manager I did while working at Starbucks she would be back on the register, retraining, or out of a job moving that slow. I probably won't go back to this one because time is not of the essence here.

Love this location in the heart of the Denver Tech Center (DTC). Seating both inside and outside makes this location a great place to sit inside or out (they also have heaters for those colder days/nights) as well as FREE wifi whoohoo. Great restaurants next to it if you want more than the pastries/sandwiches they have inside.

Awful experience! First off the guy who took my order was not friendly and very curt. I asked for a bagel with butter and cream cheese, when I got in my car there was no butter in the bag. I also got a Java Chip Frap. I knew instantly just by looking at it that it wasn't made right. I get a Java Chip EVERY SINGLE DAY! And I know what they look like, they are always a dark brown color. I told the guy that it wasn't made correctly, he said, well that's how they are made, didn't offer to remake it. I replied that it wasn't right but he just turned around and kept making other drinks. It tasted like it had no chocolate mix/syrup in it, super plain. I had to go to another Starbucks to have them remake it. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. It's very disappointing to be treated so rudely. Plus have to take extra time to find another Starbucks to stop at. I know I could have insisted he remake it, but I don't think it would have done any good. My husband said his caramel macchiato was also very watered down and not good. I will never return to this Starbucks.

Ever since they remodeled this location about a year and a half ago, it's been the nicest Starbucks I've been to. They have a really huge table right in teh cetner of teh store where you can set up your laptop and work your little heart away. The service here is always great...the drawbacks can be the parking if you come during a busy morning or lunch time and the lines can get pretty long to endure. Overall, a spacious Starbucks right in the Tech Center.

I stopped here the other day thanks to a lack of traffic on I-25 while on my way to the airport. Even at 10am the place was packed which leads to the questions usually on my mind when I go to a busy Starbucks on a week day-who are all these people and what do they do for a living that enables them to sit around at a Starbucks on a Friday morning? But then again, they could be asking the same about me. Anyways. It was packed yet the baristas here were efficient and in Colorado fashion, really friendly (I currently live in South Florida and baristas aren't so chipper) I love that they have a huge table right in the middle of the place which I guess is a community table. However, it made me want a beer because it reminded me of the tables at the Hofbrauhaus.

This was our second visit to this location. The same friendly cashier was working tonight. There were a bunch of customers sitting in the leather chairs sipping their coffees. There were plenty of outlets around the perimeter. We will be back!

Saturday midmorning traffic is little to none. This is one of the more low key locations which makes it nice. Even the evenings work wonders for any coffee lover's soul. Always upbeat and laid back. The baristas here have a smile which gets infectious. I used to live right behind this location but never saw anyone from my apartment building or surround area come here. It's the people driving through town on the way that drop by. Anyway, still love this place and will continually head back.

I can't believe how horrible the customer service is here. I understand it's a really busy location, but aren't all Starbucks employees trained for this and always smiling regardless the situation? Our entire workplace has had bad experiences here. Our drinks orders are always wrong, when we come back for it, they try to blame it on us for not listening to the right drink... but we always order several drinks together so why would one get mixed up with someone else's? Michael is the worse barista we've ever experienced. She rolls her eyes at all her customers when she is annoyed, she threw a pen at me to sign once, she has thrown receipts at my coworkers. When we asked her to correct our drink she rolled her eyes at us. How is the a part of the Starbucks philosophy? These baristas are obviously overworked, so it's better if you drive on down the street to another Starbucks where workers aren't so angry.

I'm typically of the opinion that a Starbucks is a Starbucks, but oye ... this place gives me a headache. It's always so crowded, which isn't the fault of the employees, but it seems like they let the stress of the busy store get under their skin and they aren't always the friendliest. Not to mention parking here can be a chore. Anyway, if you're in need of a cup of joe this place will suit your needs, but you should definitely expect to see a decent sized line when you get inside the store.

It is definitely nice knowing that we have a Starbucks to go to just to meet up with a friend or business associate for business or pleasure

Despite all the negative reviews for this location, I have only had positive experiences here. They are not the fastest moving baristas but they are very busy and have definitely improved over the past months. Recently I dropped and spilled my entire drink and they remade it for me with no charge and much quicker than normal. All the baristas are extremely friendly and helpful.

Let me just tell you about my experience with this Starbucks... First of all, I ordered my drink and the barista didn't even tell me when my drink was ready. It sat on the counter for 5 minutes while I sat and waited. Finally I got up and found it just sitting there after several people after me had gotten theirs. I was on my way to work and in a hurry. Only slightly irritated. So then I'm a mile down the road on I-25 at rush hour letting my drink cool down a little before taking a sip, only to discover my cup was only 3/4 full (see photo). I paid full price for this $5 per day crack habit. Not cool. Next time I will just stick with the Starbucks where everybody knows your name.

Som is the best Barista! This place is busy but they are fast and friendly. And of course the coffee is great!

I was a little freaked out by how long the line was but it moved exceptionally fast. There were at least 10 people ahead of me but 2 registers were open and 6 people were working. I got my hot sandwich and shaken tea in less than 4 minutes after ordering. I've def waited longer at less busy places. My food and drink were perfect. The worst thing about this place is no drive through and terrible parking but this is the closest and only nearby. I was disappointed that the other cashier was telling everyone about a promotion. I wasn't told about it and wasn't given a receipt.

Erica is the best barista ever! She always has the prettiest smile and the warmest greeting. I will drive 13 miles to come to this Starbucks just to be waited on by her.

Still was crowded my second time here at 1 on a Tuesday...staff was great. The parking lots was pretty crowded since it was around lunch. I do wish that there were more than one bathroom stall for each sex. There was a wait for both.

I went there at 5:30 in the morning and the lady behind the counter was very cheerful and friendly. THe coffee was hot and fresh and I also got a free (big bag) sample of their new Blonde roast. The next day I went again (but this time in the evening) and there was a different barista and was friendly as well. The location was clean too. Definitely one of the better locations.

Mystery solved. I just read a Wall Street Journal article that the remodels at the beginning of the year were calculated to no longer be comfortable. Turns out all the coffee profits still don't justify patrons sitting around longer than they absolutely need to. Kudos now to corporate for accomplishing exactly what they set out to do - get 'em in and get ' em out.

I really like this Starbucks because it always has a lot of people hanging out in it and to me that's the point of a coffee house. Right? I mean social interaction over a pungent black odiferous drink...what else is there? Service = Fast Quality = Above Average

Eh meh meh.. I'm not crazy about this Starbucks. Seating is impossible to find - my friend and I debated walking right back out upon coming in - and the baristas weren't terribly friendly.

Another reviewer said this is the busiest Starbucks in Colorado. I believe it. I'm not sophisticated enough to know if their coffee is any better / worse than other locations. I like it. I do know that it can be hard to get a table and it is LOUD. Tough place to meet people and have a discussion.
